Overview
Use this function to view the details of the Learning items that have been assigned to your Learning Path, and open and complete Online Learning Courses. You can also select Learning items and add them to the My Favourites list.
The Learning Path is a personalised, structured list of Learning items you are scheduled to complete and is set by your Manager. It provides an easy to manage structure to your training and also allows you to access a large number of online Modules and Courses. Learning items available in the Learning Path can consist of the following five types:

Acumen Modules are courses that are provided and maintained solely by ACF Consultants Ltd. Access to these courses depends on the agreement between your organisation and ACF Consultants Ltd. |

Courses are the internal or external classroom training courses that are available for you to attend. |

Assessments are the means by which your performance is assessed. These consist of Evaluations that are composed of Questions. There are six types of Evaluation: An examination where existing knowledge is tested. Blank responses are marked as blank. After the Assessment is completed, the Acumen system displays a recommendation, depending upon your overall score or response to specific questions. A collection of Questions enabling to rate the nature or value of something, such as an Online Learning Module, a trainer or a seminar.§ Exam A formal exam under timed conditions. Blank responses are marked as incorrect.
§ Survey A collection of Questions designed to obtain your opinion of a subject. The logical flow of the Survey varies according to the responses you provide. § Test An un-timed exam. Blank responses are marked as incorrect. |

Online Learning Courses are the online courses available to you that have been added by your organisation. These are distinct from the Acumen Modules that are owned and maintained solely by ACF Consultants Ltd. Courses can consist of Modules, which can be organised collectively under Volumes. |

Learning Materials are items in the Knowledge Bank that are intended to aid your learning process by providing you with supplementary information to the classroom and Online Courses. |
To View the Learning Items in the Learning Path:
On the left side of the screen, click the My Learning Path button. The My Learning screen appears displaying details of all the Learning items, organised in Volumes, that your Manager has added to your Learning Path.
To view the full details of the Learning items in a particular Volume, click the Expand button next to the Volume Name, or click the Expand All check box at the top right side of the screen to view the contents of all Volumes. The following Learning item details are displayed.

The name of the Learning item. | ||

The status of the Learning item. The status is indicated by an icon: § Active § Expired Run your mouse-pointer over the icon to display the Status description. | ||

The time and date on which you last accessed the Learning item (if you have previously opened it). | ||
|
The date by which the Learning item must be completed. | ||
|
The amount of time required to complete the Learning item. | ||

Progress for a particular item is indicated by an icon:

The exam score you have attained for a completed Learning item. | ||

The total time you have spent so far on the Learning item if you have previously opened it. | ||

The type of Learning item. The Type is indicated by an icon: § Exam § Survey § Test
Run your mouse-pointer over the icon to display the Type description. | ||

If you have completed an Acumen Module, click the View Certificate button . The course certificate awarded to you is displayed in the pop-up Acumen Certificate window. |
You can also view details of a Learning item in a pop-up window by running your mouse-pointer over the Name of the Learning item. |
To Sort/Filter the List of Learning Items:
You can sort/filter the list of Learning items in the Learning Path in the following ways:
Filter by Type
From the drop-down menu of the Type field on the top right side of the screen, select the Type of Learning item that you want to view, or leave the default selection as All if you want to view all the Learning items in the Learning Path, regardless of Type.
Filter by Progress Status
Click the appropriate Filter selection button on the left side of the screen to filter the list of Learning items according to the level of progress that you have achieved (Not Started, In Progress or Completed) or leave the default selection as Show All if you want to view all the Learning items in the Learning Path, regardless of their status of completion.
To Work with Items in the Learning Path:
You can use the following functions to work with items in the Learning Path.
Open a Knowledge Bank Item
Locate the Knowledge Bank Item that you want to view and click the Name. The Knowledge Bank item is displayed in a pop-up window.
Open an Evaluation
Locate the Evaluation that you want to open and click the Name. The Assessment or Evaluation opens for you to complete.
Begin an Online Course
Locate the Acumen Module or Online Learning Course that you want to take and click the Name. The online Course opens in a pop-up window ready for you to begin.
Resume an Online Course
Locate the online Course that you want to continue and click the Resume button . The online Course opens in a pop-up window ready for you to resume.
Add to Favourites
Use this function to add a Learning item to the My Favourites list.

OR If you want to create a new Section in the My Favourites list, click the Click here to add a new section hyperlink, enter the name and description of the new Section to which you want to add the Learning item and click the Add button . |

You can also add Learning items to the My Favourites list via the Online Learning and Learning and Development Guide functions. |
